January 27 in Colorado!
by Mitchell Sprinsky on Jan.27, 2013, under Colorado, Ride Reports
January 27th? Really? Well, I guess this is the future of Winter in Colorado. In my almost eight years of living here, I cannot remember North Table Mountain being this dusty in the middle of Winter. I’m not complaining. It’s beautiful. I just want to know if I should start buying my beach front furniture now.
It did provide a great opportunity to show off the new trails. Now there are nearly 14 miles of dirt, right out of my driveway.
Found!

Wow, I was on the bike everyday of my four day weekend. Even with all the work calls and emails, I still got quality time in. Just look what I FOUND on my last day of the holiday.
I FOUND perfect weather.
I FOUND perfect dirt.
I FOUND other people having a great time.
I FOUND some new trail.
I found a hiding spot.
I found some cool stuff.
I found passionate peace and harmony.
I also found out it is time to retire my trusty Lumix DMC-LX3. Though it has served me well and taken more hits than I have bruises on my body, it looks like the lens isn’t focusing right :(. Luckily, I have a hardly used backup!

The Long Loop

I roll along on an out of the ordinary cool summer morning. The wind and clouds of the night before are long gone, only to be replaced by the deep blue sky that creates an even greener hue than usual.
