The Moab Trilogy

An exciting weekend of riding in Moab. I decided to go it alone this time, but did meetup with some great people from California, Arizona, and Washington for the Whole Enchilada,
Day one started with the Bar trails. Great intro to the area, and they are expanding it by more than double!

Day 2, I found myself taking the risk of riding technical trails alone. But, it did give me time to do some camera work. Amasa Back trail is actually one of my favorite Moab rides, even though it’s mostly a Jeep road. Still, there is plenty of stuff to play on and the views are magnificent.

The final day (this one pooped me out) I met up with some great people and did The Whole Enchilada. This is 27.6 miles of technical downhill trail. It incorporates Burro Pass, a muddy steep downhill, Hazard County, a twisty turny rock filled ledge downhill, and of course, all of Porcupine Rim. If you don’t think you can get tired going downhill, try this ride.
