One of the Best!

We hit the Middle Run trails first and behold, the best conditions I have ever seen here. The trails were packed and fast!
We regroup and head down some more wooded singletrack. I’m feeling
really good today and the bike is finally tuned just right. I don’t
know why I had a -5 degree stem on it, but I put a +5 and now it rides
like it’s on rails. We’re flying down the ST and come to the Judge
Morris field. I love this part because it is very fast with water bar
hills spaced just far enough apart to make excellent jumps.
Here is some short video (Flash) of this section. Sorry about the
initial hootin’ and hollorin’, Jeff "Mr. Cake" could not contain
himself.
We then head to the White Clay side for more swooping fun. I don’t know
what was happening, but I never felt we really did that much uphill. We
were flying, and I finally stayed on the bike for the entire ride (as
in no crashes). It felt like I got into a groove and just kept going.
It was an awesome experience. Again, the fact that the trails were dry
was part of the reason for the great day. Usually, these trails can be
like glue.
We finish up with a trip to the "advanced" area. This has some
Northshore type toys and dropoffs. It’s a bit wider than NS, which is
just fine with me.
And then Jeff tries the teeter-totter. He only did it because I said I
tried it. Psych!!!! Well, he teetered a little to far to the right and
fell off.
And here’s some video of the teeter-totter.
