We met at the train station and then decided on the trail (there was
some discussion as to the ground conditions in Delaware) we would use.
So the caravan of cars and bikes headed to the Pine Barrons and we
assembled at the little diner across the street from the trail.

Yes, he actually rode with the pumpkin on his head.
As
the withing our approached the trail mysteriously became foggy and the
moon began to show through the clouds. It was the perfect scenery for a
halloween ride. I don’t think Hollywood good have produced a better set.

About six miles in we reach the Batona Trail.

We
topped for a rest and a park ranger paid us a visit. This trail is a
pedestrian only trail and he informed us of that. However, after seeing
what a bunch of wackos in costumes we looked like, decided that there
wouldn’t be any pedestrians on the train at Midnight and let us
continue having fun. Thank you Mr. Ranger!
